National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina
FIRST DAYThe first day of the ATCT 2026 Conference will be held at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the oldest scientific and museum institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Established on 1 February 1888, the Museum has played a central role in preserving, researching and presenting the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the country for more than a century.
The Museum is a unique scientific and cultural institution that brings together archaeology, ethnology, natural sciences and documentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s rich heritage. Through its collections, research activities and educational programmes, it contributes to the understanding and preservation of the country's diverse cultural and natural legacy.
The current museum complex, consisting of four pavilions surrounding a beautiful Botanical Garden, was constructed between 1909 and 1913. At the time of its opening, it was the only purpose-built museum complex in the region and remains one of Sarajevo’s most recognizable architectural landmarks today.

Faculty of Traffic and Communications was founded in 1977 and since then it has gained the status of a leading educational and scientific institution in the fields of traffic and transport engineering and information and communication technologies. The process of education is designed so that students, in addition to theoretical, acquire practical knowledge through practical classes in laboratories, field research and mandatory professional practice. Students have the opportunity to participate in research and development projects, as well as international programs of strategic interest to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Quality, innovation, flexibility and compliance with the needs and requirements of sustainable development of the transport and communication system characterize the curriculum.
Alignment with market trends and new challenges of inclusion in the European educational and scientific research system is reflected in the continuous and systematic work of the Faculty on improving all areas of quality assurance, connecting efficiency in the educational process, scientific and professional activities, and building and improving internal organization.

Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque
The Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque is the largest Mosque in Sarajevo and is the center of what is commonly known as the Gazi Husrev Beg complex, a number of buildings which together make up the center of the Ottoman settlement in Sarajevo. In 1530, with his own money, Gazi Husrev Beg, triple Bosnian Steward and Builder, with his own money, built the most monumental building of Islamic culture in B&H.
The Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos is the largest Serbian Orthodox church in Sarajevo and one of the largest in the Balkans.

Sacred Heart Cathedral
The Sacred Heart Cathedral in Sarajevo is one of the most important religious buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina and It is the seat of the Archbishop of Vrhbosna. It was built in 1889 in the neo-Gothic style.
